Just incase up until now you haven't been 100% convinced we are telling the truth (although that would be quite a sick, horrid joke) here is some photo evidence!
Just an update - the doctors still haven't been able to completely diagnose dads entire condition, the biopsy that we were waiting on for results, unfortunately did not deliver what the doctor needed. As I type this Dad is in surgery (or nearly anyway) having a lymphnode removed for more extensive testing, before he can come home tomorrow. HOORAY!
Only to go back in on Monday for the first day of chemo. waah.
Enjoy the photos - gotta have a bit of a giggle when you can :P just kidding Dad!
Note - flaunting his fake tan gone wrong! Obviously needs a lesson from me... :P
All taped up across the chest and the arm so he can have a shower! Hopefully get rid of some of that pink!
While the cats away, the mice will play... Hopefully this isn't a sight we will be seeing any time soon!
Keep you updated soon!
Hayley :) xxx
Hey could be the new design in t-shirts and obviously your dad is just showing that he's in touch with his metro-man side lol. I'm not sure the playing dead thing would work the nail vanish is a bit of a give away, but hey you had to recoup your energy for the treck back out of the hospital, next time maybe you could make room for your mum. luv you all x x x
ReplyDeleteGood job Hayley, keep up the good work. Its a good job Ena Sharples can't see him, she would want the hairnet :-)
ReplyDeleteThose pipes are just so as he can get the alcohol fed to him intravenously! And as for the tan he only has himself to blame, He was always told by your Grandma to wear a T-Shirt otherwise he would just burn.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work Hayley and give your Mum and Dad all our Love
Paul xx
Thanks for the pix. Hayley - is it you or your dad that the doctors are looking after? Alan, after the initial shock of hearing you have cancer, forgive me for having a little smile as I imagined the nurses taking care of you. I wonder if they have been prepared for your sense of humour and the Mellon family antics:-) Tell Liz to ask the hospital staff if they have a sat nav that can help her navigate her way to the right wards. Thank you for doing the blog. Our thoughts are with you always and may you be blessed with good health again very soon. Lots of love Gillian and Marshall xxx
ReplyDeleteForgot the liquid boilersuit huh? Can't stop thinking about all of you. Love & hugs xxxx
